Family portrait photoshoot
Rather than a pre-wedding engagement photoshoot, Tanya and Michael asked if they could have some photos in their back garden, to include their children aswell. They are soon to be moving house, and also wanted some photos to remind them of their fantastic garden - so it was arranged!
The weather was perfect, and coming straight from a wedding that morning, I arrived at Tanya's house just as the sun was low enough to create some gorgeous shadows and lines, and light up their fantastic garden.
Disaster struck within the first 5 photographs, where my flash and softbox blew over in the wind, and my nearly new Canon 600RT flash unit went nose first into the bottom of the garden pond! Needless to say, I wasn't far behind it, and I was soon jumping in after it - scooped it out and to my amazement it was still working. I didn't fancy using it again while it was still dripping wet, and luckily I had another two in my bag, so I went and got another one to continue shooting with - albeit with a brick now holding the flash stand firmly in place!!
It wasn't long before Grace and Jacob wanted to be involved, which made for a lovely family portrait of everyone, and then soon afterwards, Luna also seemed to be showing an interest in my camera - and I got some of Tanya and her! I've never seen such a fluffball as Luna!!!
Anyway...onto the pictures!
